We Spar Down the Lane

Premiere: September 2005

We Spar Down the Lane is a hybrid work combining dance and clowning.  In a playfully exaggerated portrait of human nature, five female characters with opposing agendas struggle for both power and acceptance.  The contentious crew fashions a fantasy of music videos, psychic breakdowns and a puzzle of impossible rules.
