N Is for Nichole Canuso
Since arriving on the scene in 1996, the eminently likable
Nichole Canuso has seemingly been everywhere as a freelance
performer and choreographer with numerous theater and dance
companies, and as a regular company member of Headlong Dance
Theater. She created the character of the delightful clown
Snow in Pig Iron Theatre Company's masterful comedy Flop,
and on occasion she continues to tour in the role. Last year
she went from being one of Philadelphia's most sought-after
free agents to helming her own Nichole Canuso Dance Company,
which mounted the acclaimed dance-clown work We Spar Down
the Lane. (JCooperRobb)
